Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator of Cuban descent in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. She was born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old accompanied with her parents. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. Presently, she is hosting the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", a Spanish language television program which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was also named as the most popular Spanish-language show on 4pm, for important demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated at Florida International University's political sciences program, she made the move to Havana where she stayed for the next 20 years. Then she earned an PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and was a lawyer for over 20 years in Miami. Following her PhD from the University of Miami in law and practicing law at the bar in Miami city for 20 years. Polo's legal knowledge was used on other court shows, and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001 and on the television show Sala de Parejas. Literature: Accolades and Literary Works In 1958, the author wrote her first book Los Hijos Muertos. It was awarded the Critic's Award for Literature and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo is a breast-cancer survivor and often gives talks to raise funds. She has fought for LGBT rights all throughout her life. She earned her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
